Our Commitment

I am committed to ensuring that alissajulie.com is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Accessibility Features

• Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions
• Skip-to-content link for keyboard navigation
• Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
• Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA standards
• Alt text on all meaningful images
• All animations respect prefers-reduced-motion and degrade gracefully when reduced motion is requested
• Keyboard-accessible forms with proper labels and ARIA attributes
• Mobile navigation with focus trap, Escape key support, and screen reader announcements
• Error boundaries to prevent crashes from affecting the entire page

Known Limitations

While I strive for full accessibility, some limitations may exist - particularly in complex scroll-linked animations within the services section. These animations are simplified or fully disabled when reduced motion is preferred. Video reels currently do not include captions. If you encounter any barriers, please let me know so I can address them.
